UQ alumni have far-reaching influence in North America. As a member of the UQ family, you can stay in touch through our alumni network, membership in The University of Queensland in America, upcoming events, service, and giving opportunities. UQ has more than 8,000 alumni living in the US and Canada. Our North American alumni include graduates, study abroad and exchange students. Read about some of our successful North American alumni here.
Below are ways that you can stay in touch with your alma mater:

UQ North America has established a group on LinkedIn where UQ alumni and friends can reconnect, share job and career opportunities, and network with each other. We would invite you to join this online community. In addition, UQ has groups on Facebook, Twitter and Google+. You can also subscribe to our quarterly UQ North America e-newsletter to stay informed about activities, events and updates from the UQ office in Washington, DC, and the broader UQ community.
Volunteer with UQ
If you are interested in becoming more involved and engaged with your alma mater, consider volunteering to help UQ organize alumni events in North America, represent UQ at college or study abroad fairs, or mentor UQ students or recent graduates. Register your interest here, or complete the online form below. We will then be in touch to provide you with further opportunities to volunteer and engage with UQ.
“For nearly everyone, time at university represents a turning point, there has been no time in my life after UQ that I didn’t call on the people I met here (at UQ), who gave me advice and guidance in those early years after graduation and with whom I have maintained contact throughout my career at DOW.”
Andrew Liveris – President, Chairman and CEO, DOW and Chair of The UQ in America, Inc. Foundation
